How to Delete History on Cash App

Deleting your history on the Cash App is a straightforward process that helps you maintain your privacy and keep your financial transactions secure. Whether you’ve made a mistake or simply want to remove past transactions for any reason, follow these simple steps to delete your history on the Cash App.

Step 1: Open the Cash App

First, launch the Cash App on your smartphone. Ensure that you are logged in with your credentials to access your account.

Step 2: Navigate to the Activity Tab

Once you are logged in, you will see several tabs at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the “Activity” tab to view your transaction history.

Step 3: Select the Transaction You Want to Delete

Scroll through your transaction history to find the specific transaction you want to delete. Tap on the transaction to view more details.

Step 4: Tap on the Three Dots

After selecting the transaction, you will see three vertical dots on the top right corner of the screen. Tap on these dots to open a menu.

Step 5: Choose “Delete Transaction”

From the menu that appears, select “Delete Transaction.” A confirmation message will pop up asking if you are sure you want to delete the transaction. If you are certain, tap “Yes” to proceed.

Step 6: Repeat for Other Transactions

Repeat steps 3 to 5 for any other transactions you want to delete from your history. Once you have deleted the desired transactions, you can exit the Activity tab and return to the main screen of the Cash App.

Remember that deleting transactions from your Cash App history does not affect the actual transaction records on your bank account or with the recipient. The deleted transactions will still be visible in your bank’s records and the recipient’s Cash App account.

By following these steps, you can easily delete your history on the Cash App and keep your financial information private. However, always ensure that you review your transactions regularly to prevent any fraudulent activities or errors.
