How to Share Full Reel on Instagram Story

In today’s digital age, Instagram has become a hub for sharing moments, experiences, and creativity with friends and followers. One of the most popular features on Instagram is the Story, which allows users to post photos, videos, and more for a 24-hour period. However, by default, Instagram Stories only allow you to post up to 15 seconds of video. If you want to share a longer video, such as a full reel, you may be wondering how to do so. In this article, we will guide you through the process of sharing a full reel on Instagram Story.

Step 1: Record or Upload Your Full Reel

Before you can share your full reel on Instagram Story, you need to have the video ready. You can either record a new video or upload an existing one. If you’re recording a new video, make sure to capture the entire content you want to share. If you’re using an existing video, ensure that it is of high quality and within the file size limit of Instagram.

Step 2: Trim Your Video

Instagram does not allow you to post videos longer than 15 seconds directly to your Story. To overcome this limitation, you will need to trim your video into smaller segments. There are several video editing apps available for both iOS and Android devices that can help you do this. Some popular options include InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, and iMovie.

Step 3: Create a Collage of Trimmed Segments

Once you have trimmed your video into smaller segments, you can create a collage of these segments to simulate a full reel. Most video editing apps offer a collage feature that allows you to combine multiple videos into one. Arrange the segments in the order you want them to appear and adjust the duration of each segment to ensure a smooth transition.

Step 4: Share the Collage on Instagram Story

After creating your collage, it’s time to share it on Instagram Story. Open the Instagram app and go to your Story camera. Tap on the “+” button to add a new Story. Then, select the collage you created from your gallery. You can add text, stickers, or filters to make your Story more engaging. Once you’re satisfied with your Story, tap the “Send to” button and choose your audience.

Step 5: Share the Full Reel on Instagram Reels

To give your followers a chance to watch the full reel, you can also share it on Instagram Reels. Go to the Reels section in the Instagram app and upload your full reel. Add music, effects, and other creative elements to make your Reel stand out. Once your Reel is ready, share it with your followers and friends.

By following these steps, you can easily share a full reel on Instagram Story and engage your audience with longer, more compelling content. Remember to experiment with different video editing techniques and storytelling methods to make your content more engaging and memorable. Happy sharing!
