Step-by-Step Guide- How to Effectively Bookmark a YouTube Video for Easy Access

How do you bookmark a YouTube video? If you’re a frequent YouTube user, you might have come across videos that you want to revisit later. Perhaps it’s a tutorial, a motivational speech, or a comedy routine that you simply can’t get enough of. In this article, we will guide you through the process of bookmarking YouTube videos so that you can easily access them whenever you need to.

Bookmarking a YouTube video allows you to save it for future reference without cluttering your watch history or playlists. It’s a convenient feature that can save you time and effort in searching for the same video again. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the steps to bookmark a YouTube video.

Firstly, you need to ensure that you are logged into your YouTube account. If you’re not already logged in, click on the profile icon in the top-right corner of the YouTube homepage and sign in with your credentials.

Once you’re logged in, find the video you want to bookmark. You can do this by searching for the video using the search bar at the top of the page or by browsing through your subscriptions, playlists, or watch history.

When you have found the video, click on it to open it. Once the video is playing, look for the three dots (also known as the “More actions” button) located just below the video’s title and to the right of the video’s duration.

Click on the three dots, and a dropdown menu will appear. From the dropdown menu, select “Add to.” This will open a new menu where you can choose to add the video to a playlist or create a new playlist.

Instead of adding the video to a playlist, select “Create new playlist” to create a new playlist specifically for your bookmarks. You can give your playlist a name, such as “Bookmarks” or “Favorites,” and then click “Create.” This will create a new playlist, and the video will be added to it.

Now that the video is in your bookmarks playlist, you can easily access it later by visiting your YouTube account, clicking on the profile icon, and navigating to the “Playlists” section. From there, you can find your bookmarks playlist and watch the video whenever you want.

Alternatively, you can also use the YouTube mobile app to bookmark videos. Open the app, find the video you want to bookmark, and tap on the three dots located below the video’s title. From the dropdown menu, select “Add to,” and then choose “Create new playlist” or add the video to an existing playlist.

By following these simple steps, you can now bookmark YouTube videos and easily access them whenever you need to. This feature is especially useful for educational purposes, entertainment, or when you want to share a video with friends or family.
